Hilhi presents 'Out of the Frying Pan'

Hillsboro High School's Hilhi theatre will present "Out of the Frying Pan" by Francis Swann Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. The comedy includes mistaken situations as six young actors, living above a producer, are determined that the producer see them perform his show in hopes that he will make them Broadway stars. The cast includes Ben Noyes as George, Kat Kennemer as Mrs. Garnet, Kyle Taylor as Norman, Frankie Schapiro and Elizabeth Dobbins as Muriel, Leslee Humphrey as Kate, Jade Halpern as Marge, Maika Rhee as Dottie, David Page and Mike Holsapple as Mr. Coburn, Sam Robinson as Mr. Kenney, and Michael Haldorson, Taylor Casey and Rachel Lilja as police officers. The technical crew members are Krystal Lum, lights; Mitch Kleier, Steven Taylor, Alex Christensen, Kristina Long, Kelsi Thorud, Miles Smith, set and crew. Teacher Silverna Scott is the director. General seating tickets are $6 for students and seniors and $7 for adults, and are available at the door.
