이별은 손 끝에 있고
서러움은 먼데서 온다.
강 언덕 풀잎들이 돋아나며
아침 햇살에 핏줄이 일어선다.
마른 풀잎들은 더 깊이 숨을 쉬고
아침 산그늘 속에
산벚꽃은 피어서 희다.
누가 알랴 사람마다
누구도 닿지 않은 고독이 있다는 것을

돌아앉은 산들은 외롭고
마주 보는 산은 흰 이마가 서럽다.
아픈 데서 피지 않는 꽃이 어디 있으랴
슬픔은 손 끝에 닿지만
고통은 천천히 꽃처럼 피어난다.
저문 산 아래
쓸쓸히 서 있는 사람아
뒤로 오는 연인이 더 다정하듯이
그리운 것들은 다 산 뒤에 있다.
