Launch of Atlantis Hours Away; Tanking Complete
Space shuttle Atlantis is clearly visible on Launch Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center
after rollback of the rotating service structure, which was completed by 6:08 p.m. on May 13.
Space shuttle Atlantis was just few hours away from lifting off KSC's Launch Pad 39A
on its STS-132 mission to the International Space Station.
Atlantis' external fuel tank is fully loaded with more than 500,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen.
