Steve Jobs: Time Magazine October 2011 Cover and Funeral Details
When Apple announced the passing away of Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple Inc. due to pancreatic cancer, the world seemed to stop for a moment. Thousands of Apple fans, Apple employees and tech users gathered to mourn the beloved entrepreneur in the tech world on Twitter, on Facebook and Apple stores all around the world. Numerous magazines have pictures of Steve Jobs on their latest covers to pay tribute to “an amazing human being” and “a visionary and creative genius”.
Time Magazine has stopped the press on its previously planned issue and featured Steve Jobs on the cover at once. It is eighth time Steve Jobs would crown the Time Magazine cover during his life. In addition, the special Steve Jobs commemorative issue to hit newsstands and tablet devices on 7 October 2011 will display a full 21 pages to Apple's former CEO.
