The Unjust (부당거래 Budanggeorae) is 2010 South Korean crime film by Ryu Seung-wan. It was screened in the Panorama section at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.it won for best film at Blue Dragon awards both lead actors Hwang and Ryu are previously worked together for Bloody Tie (2006). The film is a dark and bitter denunciation of corruption in the South Korean justice system.

 

 

The city of Seoul is terrified by a serial child killer, and the police have no leads. In desperation, the police chief makes a deal with Captain Choi: produce a scapegoat on whom the case can be closed and Choi will receive a promotion. But public prosecutor Joo, assigned to the case, refuses to accept Choi's candidate. Not because of the flimsy evidence, but because Choi had interfered with a business deal sought by Joo's great and good friend, businessman Kim. In retaliation, Choi makes an alliance with gangster Jang, and a no holds barred war breaks out between the cop and the prosecutor, with the murder investigation totally sidelined.
