TXT burst into tears when receiving Rookie award at MGMA 2019

Music group TXT was honored to receive the Rookie Award for boy groups at the "2019 Genie Music Awards".

 

On the afternoon of August 1, "2019 MGMA" (M2 X Genie Music Awards) hosted by model Han Hye Jin took place at KSPO Dome Stadium, Olympic Park, Seoul.

That day, TXT won the Rookie Award for boy groups given by Shinhwa member Kim Dong Wan. As soon as they received the award, member Soo Bin burst into tears and couldn't speak his feelings.

Member Huening Kai shared, "We were surprised to receive the Rookie Award after debut. Even in our dreams, the group did not expect to win this award, so we felt really honored. We would like to send our sincere thanks to our fans, Big Hit staff, as well as PD Bang Shi Hyuk.

Taehyun promised, "We will think this award means TXT must also continue to try hard in the future." Meanwhile, Beomgyumentioned member Yeonjun - who was unable to attend the awards ceremony - and added, "Thank you."
