모든 것 하염없이 사라지나
지나가 버린 것 그리움이 되나니

Be not gloomy, be not riled!
To sad days be reconciled;
Days of gladness, trust, are near you.
In the future the heart lasts,
And the present is not cheering:
All’s but a moment, all will pass;
What has passed will be endearing.

Don't be sad or mad at it!
On a gloomy day, submit:
Trust - fair day will come, why grieve you?

What if gloom pervade the present?
