Mother

 

 

We've been through so much,
so many ups and downs,
but I never see a frown upon your face.

You love me in spite of all my imperfections,
and you make my world a better place.

You've shown me love,
and what life is really all about.

You've praised me,
even though I know sometimes it wasn't deserved.

No matter what I do good or bad,
you're always there to support me,
in all of my mistakes and accomplishments.

You help me to stand tall
and be proud of myself,
and from your words and actions
I know you are proud of me.

Thank you for all your love and dedication,
I know it hasn't been easy raising me,
a sometimes difficult child.

But I want you to know this time,
out of all the mother's in this world,
I am so very glad that you are mine.
