Web Site Analysis:
This is a front page of
Sara Waters’ Graphic Design,
Print and Web Design Site.
This Web Site is for the sake of display
Sara Waters’ Graphic Design abilities.
It represents really well
the purposes and goals of this site.
The whole layout is divided
five-eight horizon golden proportion with
four images together in a clean cut rectangle
on little higher center position that
gives audience comfortable feeling with
reliance to do business together.
The back ground color match -
White color on top and bluish slategray color on bottom -
infers that clean image will be designed from ample ideas.
It also helps the pure water images
look neater and more vivid.
The shape of rectangle
with well composed four different size rectangles
implicates that the graphic design will be
well organized and enhanced each content.
Moreover,
the water images reflect designer’s last name,
so it’s easy to recall in graphics world.
This is another smart way to use right images
for its representative page.
When you click ‘portfolio’,
you will get these three same images from front page.

These well organized neat three rectangles
represent her works in this web site.
She picked the right images for each category,
so the client will presume
the design will genuine and creative
just like the water images have
It’s easy to navigate and
wants to click to the next categories.
Naming categories are suitable for different types of work.
Each category displayed unity
all the way through this site.
Overall, I liked the whole design concept
including color usages.
It is just right that
there’s nothing to add or remove.
