Introducing the trendy city of Seoul with "Sarang Ga" Korea's most well-known Pansori song, which describes the beautiful feeling of being in love. From modern and trendy streets to the vintage alleys, get a guided tour of some of Seoul's beautiful streets and alleyways.

Combining two representations of Korea, Seoul’s old school streets with a hip-hop version of the Korean folk song "Arirang." As the most famous Korean folk song, "Arirang" has been passed down by word of mouth and recreated. 대한민국 대표 서핑도시 양양과 강릉을 한국의 민요 ‘늴리리야‘ 를 재해석한 활기찬 음악, 늴리리야는 사랑하는 님을 그리는 내용을 흥겹고 리듬감 있는 멜로디로 풀어낸 민요이다. 파도 위에서 서핑하고, 푸른 자연 속에서 캠핑을 즐길 수 있는 양양과 강릉으로 떠날 계획을 세워보자.

 

Collaborating untold stories of Seosan with the folk song "Ong Heya." "Ong Heya" has a fast tempo and light rhythm and was typically sung by farmers while they thrashed their harvested barley. Enjoy the majestic view of Seosan's mud flats, one of the five biggest mud flats in the world and source of delicious clams.

"기존에 소개되지 않았던 한국의 관광지 ‘서산’과 민요 ‘옹헤야’를 재해석한 힙합음악의 콜라보레이션, 옹헤야는 과거 보리를 수확한 후 도리깨질을 하면서 불렀던 노래로 빠른 템포의 경쾌한 리듬으로 이루어진 민요이다. 서산의 세계 5대 갯벌에서 펼쳐지는 바지락 부대의 웅장함을 눈과 귀로 함께 즐겨보자.

 

Introducing the city of Daegu with a hip-hop version of Korean folk song "Kwaejina Ching Ching Nane." Song’s light and fun rhythm made time fly during hard labor and for fun entertainment. Enjoy the lively song as dancers move through some of Daegu's old streets.

한국의 민요인 ‘쾌지나칭칭나네’ 를 재해석한 힙합음악과 어우러진 대구, 쾌지나칭칭나네는 경쾌하고 신나는 장단으로 이루어져 있으며 주로 노동을 할때나 부르는 노동요 혹은 유희요로 불려온 민요이다. 공구골목, 약전골목, 구제골목 등 대구의 다양한 옛 골목의 모습을 흥겨운 음악과 댄스퍼포먼스와 함께 즐겨보자.

 

The only way to showcase the coastal cities, Busan and Tongyeong, is with an R&B version of a traditional Korean sea shanty. This shanty was sung by fishermen as they sailed off to catch fish. Relax and enjoy the soothing scenery hidden behind the hustle and bustle of Busan and Tongyeong.

"Sae Taryeong" describes the sounds and motions of various birds on a bright spring day. Traditional way of life harmonized with nature, as well as unique specialty products can be seen throughout the city.

보기만해도 마음이 편안해지는 자연이 펼쳐진 도시 순천을 한국 민요 ‘새타령’을 재해석한 음악, 새타령은 화창한 봄날 즐겁게 지저귀는 여러 가지 새의 모습과 울음소리를 묘사한 민요이다. 자연과 사람이 하나되는 마을에서 한국의 특색있는 물품들과 정이 넘치는 전통적 삶의 방식을 엿볼 수 있다.

 

Introducing a hip-hop version of "Ganggangsullae," in the city of Gyeongju. "Ganggangsullae" is a folk song for Jeongwol Daeboreum, the festival of the first full moon of the Lunar New Year. It was typically sung by women, who would gather in a circle, hold hands and dance under the direction of the lead singer. The lyrics are prayers asking for our lives to be full of joy. 한국의 민요인 ‘강강술래’ 를 재해석한 힙합음악과 어우러진 경주와 안동, 강강술래는 대개 정월대보름에 부녀자들이 모여 손에 손을 잡고 원형으로 빙글빙글 돌면서 뛰놀때 부르던 민요다. 유한한 인생에서 즐겁게 노닐며 살기을 염원하는 의미를 담고 있다. 도시 구석구석에 펼쳐진 찬란한 한국의 전통문화유산을 중독적인 후렴구와 함께 감상해보자.
